A Spicy Serving of Pepa Lagos
Hey ladies,
There's a new name on our radar and it arrived with the confidence of a brand that knows exactly who it's dressing. Pepa Lagos launched this month with a tagline we can't argue with, Lagos looks better in Pepa, and a debut edit where every piece is named after a pepper - nobody loves a play on words like we do. The clothes live up to the spice levels: plunging halters, keyhole cut-outs, trailing hems cut for Lagos nightlife. We're obsessed, and here's what we're adding to cart first.
The Cajun Dress
This is the dress that walks in before you do. A body-skimming mini with statement keyhole cut-outs at the front and back, softly draped through the top and fitted through the lower body, finished with long fluid sleeves that move with you. It's the one for birthday dinners, rooftop evenings and any night you intend to be photographed.
You can opt for black, blue, yellow, white or red, each in sizes XS to XL.
The Cajun Dress retails at N140,000
2. The Cajun Capri Set
The Cajun, reworked into separates, and we love it even more this way. The draped top keeps those signature front and back keyhole cut-outs with soft volume up top, so it carries a whole look on its own. Wear it with the matching capris for brunch that runs into drinks, or tuck it into a sleek skirt when the evening calls for more.
The other half of the set is the quiet hero. Sleek, body-skimming capri shorts with clean lines that let the top do the talking, and just as easy to style with a crisp shirt or a simple tank on a day off. Days that turn into nights, sorted.
You can opt for yellow, black, blue, red or white, in sizes XS to XL.and hug in all the right places without sacrificing comfort. Yellow, black, blue, red or white, in sizes XS to XL.
The Cajun Set Top retails at ₦120,000.00 and capris at ₦40,000.00
3. The Cayenne Dress
The Cayenne dress is draped to make an entrance, and it absolutely does. A plunging halter neckline meets a sculpted ring detail at the waist, then the asymmetric ruffled skirt falls into a dramatic floor-length train. With an open back and a cut that frames the waist and hips, this is the wedding guest dress that stops conversations at the reception.
You can opt for navy, black, yellow, white or red, in sizes XS to XL.
The Cayenne Dress retails at ₦100,000.00
4. Rodo Dress
Here’s our final pick! The Rodo Dress named after the pepper every Lagos kitchen runs on, and just as fiery. The Rodo is a halter maxi cut from Adire sourced from Abeokuta, with a softly gathered neckline, open sides, a fitted ruched waist and a full flowing skirt. The tie-neck and open back make it feel made for owambe season and beach weekends alike, proof that traditional textile craft and a body-conscious silhouette belong together.
You can opt for yellow or red, in sizes XS to XL (red is currently sold out in XS).
The Rodo dress retails at ₦90,000.00
