In The Garden with Gloria & Co
We’re back at it ladies,
On the list of new drops we’ve loved and had to write about, Gloria & Co. is one of those Nigerian labels that understands restraint is its own kind of luxury, and their new Botanical collection proves the point. As always, we’ve picked out some of our favourite pieces that are staples that wont only serve you through summer much later on in the year too.
The Ifeoma Skirt
This is the skirt that stops conversations mid-sentence. The bronze linen alone is gorgeous, but it's that bold woven Gumloko waistband that turns it into a statement piece - full and gathered, with serious presence. It comes in a full Length that sweeps the floor for maximum drama, or a mid Length that falls below the knee if you want something a touch more everyday.
You can opt for the full length when you want to own whatever room you walk into , or the mid length for brunch with sandals and let that waistband do all the work. Either way, we're obsessed and we need it in more colours.
The Ifeoma Skirt retails at N125,000
2. Sable Halter Neck 2.0
We love when brands bring back styles we’ve loved and the Sable is back and better than ever. This polka dot iteration takes everything we loved about the original - that structured, romantic halter shape and makes it feel fresh and playful all over again. Honestly, this might be our favourite piece in the whole collection.
You can opt for this when you want a guaranteed-good-photo outfit for a garden party or summer wedding, no extra styling required. This will definitely sell out, so if you're feeling this one, don't wait around. Shop with the link immediately

3. The Folasa Dress
A dress ready for Summer? Look no further. The ivory linen and soft botanical leaf print are dreamy on their own, but that A-line cut fitted through the bodice, sweeping out past the ankle, held up by the daintiest spaghetti straps — is what makes it a must-have.
You can opt for this on beach days with flat sandals, or elevate it with heeled mules and gold jewellery for evening. It's the kind of dress that works no matter what you throw at it.
The Folasa dress sells for N65,000
4. Muna Kaftan
Quick detour from the new collection, because this one is too good to leave out. The Muna kaftan is woven from Gum loko, a ceremonial Aso oke fabric hand-loomed in south-eastern Nigeria, and the result is stunning, generous, voluminous, and rich with texture and history. Also there’s no such thing as too many kaftans.
You can opt for this on the days you want to make an entrance without lifting a finger — milestone celebrations, sunlit gatherings, anywhere you want the fabric to do the talking. Stock is low here too, so move fast.
The Muna Kaftan retails for N150,000
5.Sable Halter Neck
And of course, we had to bring back the original Sable — the dress that started it all before the 2.0 came along. Deep black linen, a plunging halter neckline, an open back. It's simple, but it's the kind of simple that always works. There's also a floral colourway if black feels too safe for you.
You can opt for this on warm evenings and candlelit dinners, anywhere you want to be remembered without having tried.
The OG Sable retails for N100,000
