Vicnate’s Run in N°9
Hey Girl,
Fashion season is about to start swinging for real, fashion week headlines are making waves around the globe, Anna Wintour’s out of Vogue, and Giorgio Armani's will controversy has everyone talking. The fashion world is buzzing.
Beyond the big stages and mind-catching headlines, designers are still out here carving their own lane to show us their unique voice in the fast-paced world of style.
On September 13th, 2025, Vicnate unveiled its N°9 Collection—not just through the usual social media roll-out but with a runway show right here in Lagos, Nigeria. A refreshing moment for many, the showcase captured Victor Anate’s sharp eye and his interpretation of the modern woman.
Mazzi Odu amongst notable other tastemakers attended the magnificent show, and in her Instagram reflection post of the collection, she shared:
No 9 is his ode to modernism, drilling down to the essence of a wardrobe, the purpose and intentions behind each piece, the spaces they will occupy, the life they are meant to furnish, inspire, help the wearer to manifest.
An eloquent way to frame Victor Anate’s vision. The collection itself unfolds in Cropped Trench Coats-designed Jackets, formal Dresses, tailored Blouses, Mini Skirts, and sleek Co-ord Pant Sets. But beyond the categories, these designs aren’t about occasion dressing—they serve a greater purpose: to shape the identity of the modern-day woman of the mid-2020s. A woman defined by grace, vigor, and the exuberance of life—with just a dash of allure.
The collection is yet to be released on sale, but here's what's coming:
We've only scratched the surface of this collection, but we're already obsessed. When N°9 finally hits, which look will you be scrambling for first?
