What’s Hot? An Eid Special

Hello Ladies,

Are we back, or are we back? Yes, WE ARE SO BACK!.

What better way to return than with a Special . Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of fasting, and a celebration this special deserves an equally special fit.

We spoke with a few of our favourite Ramadan observing girls about how they're getting ready for the occasion. From styling plans to outfit inspiration, their answers might just give you a little inspiration of your own for Eid this year.

Chic is the Keyword!

We’ve asked the pros so you don’t have to!

Wura, Latifa, Aziza and The Mazzette whats driving outfit decision making this Eid and you’re welcome because we’ve got that and options too!

It should come as no suprise the girls are choosing to lean into comfort, and the secret ingredient? It has to be chic..

Latifa Adeyemo

Latifa’s rules are simple. She follows comfort first. Something thats easy to wear but still looks effortlessly chic. For Eid this year, she’ll be delivering modest baddie.

Latifa has her sights set on the Riley Set from Bibiere, plus a few pieces from Orire. She's using this Eid to finally clear her wishlist, and honestly, could there be a better time?

And whats a cute outfit without some finishing touches? Latifa plans to top off her gorgeous Eid outfit with a small bag or should we say the smaller the better!

Aziza Oyelola

For Aziza, comfort is always her starting point, especially since Eid often falls during harmattan and the weather can be quite warm.

Our hostess with the most can be found running around, greeting guests and making sure everything is flowing smoothly so she often opts for a chic, lightweight boubou that delivers grace and movement.

Aziza focuses on the outfit as a comfort first girl, so she keeps accessories minimal. A pair of delicate stud earrings is the cherry on the cake and works a treat when your outfit does all the heavy lifting.

The Mazette

We also hit up our favourite Chicago//Lagos girlie to get the low down on what Eid will be looking like style wise. And pretend to be shocked, Mazette’s guiding style question? ‘What is the chic-est way I can give modest bad b*tch energy’

Sometimes a little off the beaten track, but she’ll be taking notes from the gorgeous glamorous girls in Senegal and Gambia for inspo of what to get sewn.

And to finish off? A scarf to tie everything together.

Wura

Saving a solid one for last, creative consultant and stylist Wura is prepped and ready for Eid this year. As you can guess, she also needs to be comfortable and stylish! When celebrating the end of such an amazing month and family gathering means there will be lots of food, Wura will be eating good (with the food and the outfit!)

Wura has her eyes on a kaftan from Flaunt Archive after visiting a pop up experience in store, but the real treat for Wura is actually her jewellery! Statement pieces like her Zoe necklace from Raenna or the Ami set from Refaini which is currently on her wishlist. ‘Jewellery really brings the whole look to life!’

Planning your Eid 2026?

From our conversation with the girls, here’s the definitive top tips for picking your Eid outfit:

One: Go chic. Let your outfit bring out your shine. It’s time to celebrate, so choose a look that adds to the joy of the day.

Two: Stay true to your personality. Whether that means big statement accessories or something minimal, loud or cozy, let your styling reflect you.

If any of the ladies match your vibe, borrow some inspiration. If not, curate your fit around how you want to feel on the day, then find brands or pieces that match that energy. Or, take a page from Mazzette’s book and create your own look from scratch with some personal inspiration.

Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones girlies!
